As renters of this nice big house we live in we have to fix up all the destruction of the previous tenants. The owners of the house decided on the Plastic Blinds instead of the wood blinds that are more sturdy, better looking and less destructible. They could have went with light weight wood blinds for the windows and we wouldn’t be replacing these slats in the plastic blinds every time we open them.

The blinds we have in here now don’t look too bad .. they are just weak and break very easily. Especially with the kids banging on them and pulling them down. If the owners would have went with the option of wood blinds we wouldn’t have to run behind the kids and fix or replace them every day.

Our next house will have wood blinds if not just for their good looks but for their durability.

Being from the East Coast originally, we all miss the weather changes and the seasons that bring new life to the land. In Las Vegas we don’t get to see much weather. The occasional summer shower and possibly one snow fall for about three minutes during the winter. That is nothing compared to the awesome weather changes in the Georgia area.
