Seriously .. this is one holiday that comes way to fast. Even though we know that Christmas is the same time every year, we are always scrambling to find Christmas gift ideas and the perfect present for everyone. This year we are trying so hard to get started early. This is how it goes for us …. Mom says that there is something that Dad really wants, I say ok .. I will get it for him for Christmas. Then a couple weeks before Christmas he buys it for himself. There should be a law against buying anything for yourself within six weeks of Christmas.
This year I am going to play it smart ..
I am going to start buying small things for everyone and wrapping them up so I don’t remember what I got for everyone. Then I am going to label them with numbers and not names. This way I can have everyone pick a number from like 1 to 10 and that wil be the present sets that they get. Except for the kids .. they always get all the toys and games and learning stuff.
This should make for a pretty interesting Christmas morning.
Our Living Room Situation is not too pleasant right now. We have been doing construction on the whole house going from room to room repairing and redoing. Lucky for us this is all landlord approved and paid for. Just take it out of the rent. This house needed fixing anyway. One thing that we are not getting paid for is the time and the other is the furniture. Hehe .. We are looking at redoing the furniture also to match our style even though it will not really match the houses style. We are looking at century furniture and a few other styles like Asian and East Indian. The point is to just get something small for now so that when we move we won’t have to take a bunch of stuff with us. Easy to move around that way.
