Setting up our own video site is proving to be a real challenge. We got tired of always being restricted by other sites rules so we decided to get started on building our own stuff. So far our UK friend Jared is working on some cool interfaces for us and I am getting all of the design going for the site. The new site will be able to do a little more than we thought. There is going to be a paid members part of the site so everyone can get in there and see the “good” stuff, and there will be a free members area where everyone can go and do their thing for free. I imagine that there will not be too many memberships at first but this is going to be one awesome site with a little for everyone !!!!

Managing your online money is a pain in the ass these days. I have gotten something like 100 spam phishing emails for me to renew accounts that do not exist. It’s funny how people get suckered into putting their personal account information into a phishing site when they should know better. Check the address before you start plugging away all your personal information. Look at the URL, is is really from who it says it’s from or is there a .something before the actual company URL? Watch what you are doing because you will get busted .. not busted in the traditional sense but busted like they will get your personal info even if you just start to type.
This is a real serious problem. Maybe we should get lifelock to make sure we are protected. There will probably be a lifelock phishing mail in a year or so though that will get even more people. Poor Suckers.

The job market in Vegas is rising back up again. With the opening of several new companies and a new casino there has been a creation of several thousand jobs for local Las Vegas People. It is likely that by 2012 there will be over one million jobs in Vegas for those without work. I have been finding that the job market in Vegas is not changing much at all. Personally there are no new Tech jobs that being created. Only freelance work. But Freelance work is not thriving either. If you want to market yourself you need to get out into the Vegas scene and that does not leave a lot of time for creating.
The market for jobs here is very slow for techs right now. There are some jobs out there but getting paid 1/4 of what you should be making just doesn’t seem like a great deal. After all there is a lot of school money that needs to be paid back and making less than nothing will not support life and loans.
