With everything that Buy.com sells I am not surprised to see now workout equipment being offered at their site now to. Howie Mandel has to be the best choice for these Buy.com videos. Mesothelioma

I am beginning to wonder if I don’t have mesothelioma and if I should go to a hospital or something to get checked out. I am a bit of a hypochondriac and I think that if I have a symptom of something that I see on TV then I sure have it and need to get checked right away. I was thinking about making a rehab or a clinic for people that are afraid that they have everything that is out there. I bet that place would be packed all the time. Maybe I don’t have mesothelioma but I think I will go get checked out anyway just in case.

Massage Chair

In your office what kind of chair do you sit in all day? Is it one of those really nice chairs with lumbar support? I like to think that when I am sitting in the same seat for 12 hours a day that I can stand up and feel ok with no back pain and still have some energy left to go and work out. A massage chair seems like a pretty good idea for an office chair. If you get a little tight after sitting there all day you can flip on a switch and get a little vibrating massage before heading home for the day. Maybe someone will buy me one for Christmas this year and I won’t bee so sore from sitting all day!

Branson Resorts

Branson Resorts are all the rage these days. We have been looking for places that we can go and visit on our tour of America and Branson resorts keep coming up as a place to visit and stay. I see by their website that the resorts are fantastic and the look and feel of the whole area is very inviting. We have been trying to contact some locals in that area for more of a local feel to the information that we found on the website. It’s always nice to talk to locals in that area who know what there is to do and see while you are there. I love to get that pre visit local feel for an area that we are going to visit. They live there and could or at least should know what the local scene is like. Right?!?!?

Sink The Pink

We are still looking for the best sinks for our home renovation. We want to get this house that we are staying in up to par before we move out and buy a home of our own. One of the deciding factors in a house that we are looking for are the sinks in the kitchen and bathrooms. We want something that looks modern but also has an old world look to it. Something that says “I am new but I look old!”

There are so many cool styles of sinks that we can choose from if we are remodeling and putting in all new sinks and fixtures. The choices are unlimited. For the time being we are going to keep shopping for something that really catches our eye. We did see a few really nice sinks and faucets on Faucets.com. Bookmarked and saved for later!!

Trying to get in Shape for Summer

We came across Orovo when looking for a dietary supplement to enhance our exercise routine and diet that we are all on. We are thinking about getting some new office furniture this week for our home office. I think it’s important for individuals to get the same great deals as big companies that buy more. Actually, people that work from home should get a better break on office furniture since they are not pulling in so much money. Wouldn’t it be nice if every company looked at people with lower income levels and priced their items to their needs? Shouldn’t it be that if you are making less money you should have to pay less and not more than someone making 10 times as much as you are? Sure, in a perfect world that would ring true. Very Creative Roller Shutters

Something I have always thought was pretty creative is roller shades. Not only do they keep the sun out much better than simple curtains or blinds but they offer a bit of security as well. I was giving some thought to how to improve the roller shades. I see that my neighbor has them installed on her home and I was wondering about how well adding something as simple as a solar panel would effect the motion or protect-ability of the panel.

I envision that someday more homes will be powered by solar regenerating equipment. The sun being a pretty great source of power for any home would make for a much more pleasant Earth. We have been coming up with a new way to harness the wind and create a generator loop that provides endless power as well. We have tested many options and some work while others have run out of juice. Maybe there is more to this endless energy that we think but I am looking forward to seeing some of the results we get from our energy tests.

I love taking showers. I love to sit down in the shower. Now I can. Sitting while I am taking a shower would be so fabulous. Have you ever seen those shower chairs that you can put in your shower? They would make shaving your legs so much easier. Bending down to get to the hard to reach ankles is a real joy when your back is hurting from lifting all day. NOT! Having a chair to sit down on would make shower time so much more fun!

I have been taking the Father In-Law out to the course for quite a few years now so that we can shoot 9 holes. We have embarked on a new way to make money. We found that in our area if you find houses that are worth more than they are selling for, in our area that is very prominent, then you can buy them high and sell them even higher. With the right mortgage lenders you can get several homes and rent them or lease option them out to other tenants and you don’t even have to pay the loans. Not that you don’t have to pay the loans but you personally will not be coming out of pocket with any money. What a grand idea.

I Have Created a Monster

I decided to help out a friend and hook up a website for him. I think I have let the beast loose. He wanted it to be like an angel investors type of site so I did what I could to get it going for him. In other words I did a ton of work for a friend and haven’t seen anything for it. Not even a thanks. Dang it! I like building sites for our friends but when they are as ungrateful as Kraig I get confused as to where to draw the line sometimes. Oh well .. Lesson learned.

RV Dress up

I have been looking for billet grilles for our RV so that I can make it look somewhat presentable. I thought that dressing up the outside would help the sale of it. We have decided that we are going to take out the RV on one trip then we are going to throw a For Sale sign in the window and see how it goes.

We found that having the right equipment for working out is a must in the hot hot town. It’s becoming more and more difficult to go outside and workout because of the extreme heat. So we have been looking for an all around treadmill that will allow us to get a multitude of workouts in one machine. We are only after cardiovascular workouts so a treadmill will be perfect if it does everything we want it to. And we have the perfect place for it in the spare room!

Fashion Flashbacks

We went to look at some treadmills this weekend and we had to go through the strip area so we stopped off for a little walk. I saw this cool fashion flashback that was something I hadn’t seen in quite a while. This really cute girl was strutting her stuff in her platform shoes. I was surprised to see that girl in those shoes but she was pulling it off well! It made me want to get myself a pair to go with my outfit that I just got. Victoria Secrets is the next stop for a new bra then on to the platforms!

Colon Cleanse

In the past months we have bought, tried, and tested every colon cleanse on the market. We have found that there are a few that really work as they say and a few that left a little to be desired. We wanted to get our bodies to their full potential as far as being healthy and clean inside and out. Starting with a better diet and then moving on to a more total body cleansing experience. Personally I found that there are several ways that you can achieve the desired results if you read and try everything out there. Last night I found a new method that I feel like I have to try out before I discount every method available. This more home remedy type method is said to really get the poisons out of your body but I am a little leery of the method as it calls for not eating, smoking or drinking alcohol for 10 days straight. Five days I think I can do but 10 days with no food may kill ya so I think I will start this one out slowly and see how I feel after the first 5 days. If all goes well then I will move on the the other five days!

It’s hard to find anything of value in Vegas unless you have tons of money. Everyone wants to sell everything that they can at the lowest price and sometimes that means sacrificing value as well. We bought these fiber optic cables for the house for our internet connection and low and behold if they were not the cheapest ones at the store at the time. I thought that if we saved a few dollars there then we would be ok but you can not trade the value of good cables for any price. If you are looking for the best then plan on paying the extra $2 for the better brands.

Land Hooo!

We found some land that we wanted to buy a month or so ago and I can and can not believe that it is still available. I thought for sure by now someone would have snatched it up as a land investment property or something. It’s 54 beautiful acres on a mountain side in WV. We thought about moving there and building a house but having the land would have been just fine with us. We could have vacationed there anytime we wanted and the kids would have been able to see some real wildlife. Not just the caged animals at the local Zoo.

Since it is still available I think we are going to take another look at it and see if we can’t get our hands on some if not all of it.

Sometimes all you need is a little accessorizing to spice up your look. Don’t take for granted that if you take their eyes off of your chubby belly and direct it toward another part of your body that is hot then you will get the gold. Or at least the golden treatment. Say no to fat and yes to bling. It’s the American Way!!!

There are supposed to me tons of accessible bins from the outside of our RV. I have taken a few of them away because I didn’t know that they were supposed to be there. There is one really good one left on the drivers side that we can use for tool storage. Lord knows we are going to need that. this thing is old and it needs help but it runs pretty good. Still I wouldn’t want to get caught out in the middle of know where without some kind of tools.

I am going to try and fix the storage problem as soon as I can. I will get to the outside and try and work my way in. I don’t see it working too well but who knows. We will see!

Don’t Get Left Behind

This Christmas has taught me one thing if nothing else. Don’t die without leaving your loved ones with some kind of back up plan like a term life insurance policy that will take care of everything after you die.

This year so many people have passed away that I am just awe struck by the numbers. Maybe it is because we live in a big city or maybe it’s just a numbers thing but in our 6º of separation about 8 people have died right before Christmas. That is a pretty high number and I am sure that there are more that we don’t know about yet. It wasn’t a few years back that we lost a few loved ones and didn’t hear about it for several years after their death. Distance can make people forget that you are a part of the family still.

So I think it’s important to make sure that your family is not going to be burdened with your financial issues after you are long gone to the after life. Make sure you take care of business while you are still alive.

Time To Buy Again

The last step we need to tackle in the RV is the plumbing. We have worked hard over the last few weeks to get everything put into place and get all of the inside of this thing back together. The last thing we need to do is the plumbing fixtures in the bathroom and the kitchen. I was graced with a Home Depot card a few days ago from friends so I am going to begin making the purchases of some PVC pipe and some of the bathroom plans may have to be redone. I thought it would be easy to get the plumbing in and functional after we designed the cabinets and whatnot but now I see that we are going to have to do a little remodeling to get the pipes into the back of the cab. OH JOY!! It shouldn’t be too hard but then again neither should any of the other things we have already done! But we all know how that went.

She had the last little bit of money stolen from her by someone that was supposed to be her trusted neighbor. Never trust your neighbors if you live in Vegas. Some of them are ok but there are more nightmares stories about neighbors that we care to share. Luckily she had done all of her Christmas toys shopping and she is good to go there. But dang …. what makes people so daring that they would steal from their neighbors that are trying to help them out and trying to stay in the Christmas Spirit?

There is some serious tangling going on in the office these days. We added in a bunch of computers and printers and we are getting everything in a tangle. There is Cat 5 everywhere and there looks to be no end in sight for the huge mess that one of us is going to have to go in and redo. With all these additions we are going to be able to do a lot more internet work and we can even get our roommate involved if we ever get one. Then we can get very serious on the money making front with some internet advertising done right. We have made it easy to manage all the accounts with these computer. I had Ern set up each computer with one separate account on each one so they will be easy to manage. There is also a neat little program I had him write so that we can manage the dailies.

I like the new system but the mess has got to go.

New Tools

I got a welder a few Christmases ago and this year I am looking forward to getting a plasma cutting tool to compliment my welder. I have always wanted a plasma cutter and this is the year that we are going to treat ourselves to one. We both decided that this year we could only get one high dollar gift for each other and we had to tell the other one what that was ahead of time. Thats safety. So mine is the plasma cutter and his is to buy me the iPhone. I can’t wait to see the look on everyones faces when they see the things we are buying. It’s insane how every year just when you think your bills are going to go down for a few months .. BAM along comes Christmas and all your money is gone in an instant.

Home Search

We have decided that we need to put our home search on hold until we decide where we are going to live. We were looking on the east side of the country and found some really nice homes in West Virginia and Wilmington NC real estate was pretty good in fitting our needs as well. I want to be closer to the ocean and I really want to be closer to the Atlantic coast. I don’t know if moving that far away from the family is a good idea for us though. We just had the baby so everyone wants us to stay close and come over every weekend. It would be a huge change for everyone if we move that far away. So for now we are putting moving on hold.

Bed Hunters

In the hunt for the perfect nights sleep we have looked at so many different mattresses and beds. We even thought about one of those fancy adjustable beds for the perfect nights sleep. I think I have narrowed it down to three styles of mattresses and possibly an adjustable bed frame. I would like to get one nights sleep that is uninterrupted and leaves me feeling refreshed in the morning instead of more tired. If only we were millionaires we could try one of those really expensive mattresses that are supposed to leave you feeling so great in the morning. For now we will continue the search and try and figure out how we can save a little each week until we can afford the one that we want.

We are almost finished with the RV except for a few minor touches and the entire bathroom. We have been looking online at some ideas for the bathroom vanities and I think I have a pretty good idea of what we want to do in there, I just have no clue where to get the sink. I have looked and looked on the web and in stores and no one really has a small enough sink to fit in there. Thats got me a little worried but if all else fails I will just make one out of fiber glass and pray for the best. We are so excited to be almost done though. So close!

Popups Be Gone

Got a PC? Then you know the necessity of having a good popup blocker. You can’t surf the net without one or it will drive you mad. With all of the sites that have pop ups these days even when you hit them by accident pop ups can drive you insane. Closing windows faster than they can come up is almost like a game with no winner. Some of the browsers have them built in but even the best browsers can not block them all. You need that little bit of extra watch dog to keep your internet browsing experience sane.

In the war against the internet there are steps that you can take to make your internet a great place to surf. Get a pop up blocker that will kick butt for you.

Dead Weight

There are many advantages to losing weight. If you are one of the many that has seen a TV in the last few months or even years you see the tons of commercials for weight loss products like hydroxycut and several others. We have been on a weight loss kick for some time now trying to shed some unwanted fat. There are too many quick fix diet pills that say they will help you to lose unwanted fat in to time flat. But which ones are really the miracle pill? Almost all that I have seen say that you also need a good diet and exercise plan to go along with their product. Well Duh .. ! Hydroxycut may be one of the only ones that I have seen that really offers results with out super modifying your diet. Exercise is always a big plus when trying to lose weight and in keeping your body healthy. Think about what you are willing to do before you start your weight loss program. Its not as hard as you think to get rid of that extra weight.

Still Looking

I was searching for some more affiliates to advertise for on my site that I am creating. I have been working on this site for almost a year now and I need some ads to display on there that are not too racy. I saw a few really nice fine lingerie affiliate advertisements that look like they will fit into the scheme of a few of the pages of my site. I started out with a boiler plate template that has morphed into some kind of monster of content and ads. I need to figure out a way to get to the affiliates and work hand in hand with them to get them to use their banner advertising to it’s full potential. It would be very easy to use some Java or something to get the ads to change for any particular special they were running and it would change on their affiliates sites as well. Instead of us having to go in and change them ten times a year.

For now the site is off line so don’t ask to see it. Just suffice it to say that when it does come out with the right kind of advertising and some exposure we will be able to make this site work for us. Good times.

We gave up our very comfortable bed, moved our ellipticals, and bought a new set up for the spare room in our house. The one that used to be our office. Mom was supposed to be coming out for a few weeks with Richard, her new hubby, and we wanted to make a good impression on them. Plus we wanted to make them comfortable in our home. It took a miracle of strength to get the treadmill and the weight bench out to the back yard. See in Vegas you can do that cause its so hot all year round that you can work out .. outside. Mom and Richard had to leave early so we are thinking about whether we want to leave the room as is or change it back to the work out room. So far that room has been a spare bedroom, an office, a workout room, and a real spare bedroom. Now that the cable is working in there and working good maybe we are going to leave it as is.

No Mail

There must be a single person at our post office that is getting our mail all messed up. They can not seem to get our mail into our mailboxes that are out at the street. Right in front of our house. With our street number on it. I can not believe that even after we call them everyday and complain that our mail is not being delivered that we still have these issues. All we want is our mail. We have narrowed it down to the central office that is messing our mail up. Everything that comes from out of town gets sent back and everything that never sees the central office is getting to our box. I just don’t know what other actions we can take.

Hardest To Quit

I wonder if anyone is having as hard of time quitting smoking as we are. We have tried several times to kick the habit and it seems like nothing is working. There should be a drug rehab for people that want to quit smoking. Everything we have tried and everything that we have done to get smoking out of our lives has not seemed to work so far. What other steps besides buying hundreds of dollars in patches or gum should we be taking? Somehow we are going to kick this nasty habit and get ourselves smoke free. Before the new year.

Everything you could ever want to know about yourself can be found within. Right? Well there are some things that you can’t find out if you don’t look. We watched Bicentennial Man last night and for me it was the second time. Everyone else was trying to guess what was going to happen and I really just wanted them to shut up so I could see the whole movie this time. What are you going to do when you are a machine that runs off nimh batteries anyway? I wanted to see the parts that I missed last time. Like this time I figured out that the crazy robot girl was turned into a hot nurse for the final days of the Bicentennial Man. That is neat. I also caught some of the similarities between this movie and iRobot. Like the thre laws. At first it didn’t hit me but when it did I was like .. hey .. wtf. That is a pretty good movie though and I can not wait to see the whole thing .. quietly and undisturbed.

Been Working Hard

I have been working so hard on our newly obtained mobile home. I wanted to save more and get into one of those luxury homes, but that idea was shot down when we saw that the price tag is more than our current house is even worth. Every thing is coming together nicely though. We will be done with the construction very shortly and then we are going to sell. Thats right. A bunch of hard work then we are selling the damn thing to the highest bidder. I only have a few things left after the interior is done. I want to give it a tune up so it runs great then I want to change out the gas and get the generator to start before I put it back on the market. I wish I could take it to an auction. Maybe I wil have an auction out here and see if that will fly.

School Dayz

I can’t tell you how difficult it is to take the little one to school in this city. There are 400 school zones between our house and his school. We have to leave an hour before his time to be there so that we can make it to the school on time. For some reason the school district here thinks that sending him to the farthest school from our house is the way to go and we have to drive through all of those school zones …… 15 MPH the whole way. There is no avoiding the school zones here. It’s really a pain in the ass more than anything.

How is the time change affecting you? We have been up early for the past two days. 6:30 AM is the time and there is something weird about being up before the baby. He used to be the alarm clock. 7:30 he would wake everyone up and we would all get ready for work and school.

I have gained a little more time during the day for reading. I am reading a book “The Four Hour Work Week” and I have to say that so far I am pretty impressed with what I am reading. I like the idea of outsourcing my life. Well the work part of as that may be. I was supposed to finish it by Monday but as it turned out I did a little more working on the RV this weekend that I should have and then we had company so I didn’t get a quiet minute to read this weekend. I’m working on it though and it should be done by this weekend. I hope so, I want to work on the RV again this weekend. At least a little, this weekend is Postiecon and the Air Show.

Money Here and There

I have to figure out what our funds are for tomorrow. I have been planning this budget that will allow us to spend some money this weekend and get some of the RV done. I was just thinking that there are several ways that I can save a few dollars here and there to get our spending limit for the weekend up to about $300. That seems like a pretty good start to me for getting the essentials together.

If I figure out the bills for this month I can get some of this money organized. I get the feeling that this is going to be a great project for us to embark on!

We are so close to getting some much needed repair money for the RV. I have been trying like crazy to raise money to get this thing fixed up and ready to go out for a weekend before June so that we can test the thing out in the street. I am so excited it’s killing me. We worked so hard to get the money up to buy the damn thing and we are working twice that hard to get the money for the little remodeling we are doing. We are going to hit the local market and see if there is an RV place that has some of the things that we need cheap. If that doesn’t work we are hitting the RV Graveyards …. after all it is a 1977.

Google Shares

Have you been watching the stocks at all? I have been watching some of them trying to figure out how I can invest in some companies and make myself a little money. I notices that even though there has been recent scandal in the Google ranks that they are still rising. They are up 62% today and currently are at $709.85 a share. That is insane. How many shares do they have anyway? heh.

Have you found a business opportunity that works for you? We have found one online business that seems to be working pretty well for a few people. There are a few thousand people that are working with affiliate programs for eBay that are making in the millions. That seems like a pretty grand idea. So I set up a couple affiliate sites and I paid the $94 for the software. The sites are really nice and easy to fix up but now it is time to advertise and this is the part that I don’t like. I have to spend my money on advertising and getting the word out about my sites. One way is Google Ad Words. Yeah .. after the recent Google destruction I don’t see that happening. So are there any other suggestions that any of you have that we can do to advertise these two sites. Michelles-EBooks.com and Whirled-Glass.com??

There are other ways that you can start your own business. You don’t need to be the main player in the licensing but if you are not then expect some back and forth arguing going on. One of the things that we have found out the hard way is that you can’t trust Joe. He is a person that is only out for himself. He will rip people off and tell them that they will get the world and not be able to deliver that promise. I see that we should have gone another way when we started this whole thing. Thats ok though we will work through this.

Happy Halloween Everyone. There are going to be a bunch of upset kids today if I cant get to the store at lunch. The one thing I forgot to get is the candy. I got everything else but not the candy. How could I forget the candy? I’m going to try and get tot he store at lunch and get a few bags of the kids wonder food. I should get them some carrots and celery. Nah .. candy is more fun. Next year will be a little better. We will have more time to plan and get ready. This year we didn’t do a lot of planning so we are ill prepared. It’s all good though … it will still be fun.

There has to be another way to get from one side of this city to the other. We have to take a long drive today from our side of town which is all the way west, to the other side of town which is all the way north east. Im not looking forward to this drive. We have to though case we finally got our RV. Woot! So we will go there sometime this afternoon and pick it up. It’s going to spend the night at our house until we get it a little fixed up then we will take it to the parents house. There yard has a ton more room.

In the city … There are a million people trying to survive in one city. Not to mention adding in all the tourists. What can a million people don in one small area of the world? There are jobs here but not really good ones that would support a family. I remember back in the day when there was only one parent working and that one source of income would support the whole household. What happened that we have to have a minimum of 100K dollars coming into a single family home every year just to make ends meet? Are there any place left in this country that you can live like that?

Homeowners Associations

Why is it that Homeowners Associations have so much legal power over a Homeowners property? I mean they can actually put a lien on your house and take it away from you if you fail to fall short on your monthly dues. Plus they can tell you what to do with your property. Such as you cannot park in your driveway, or you cannot have your garage open, or you cannot have your trash in view from the street, or you cannot do any landscaping to any part of your property without an approval from the Board of Directors of the Association. Now if I had a property that I was making mortgage payments on I would not be OK with an Association telling me what to do with my own asset. First of all I would never purchase a property that was part of an Association. Thats just madness. One of these days the Homeowners Associations are going to be wiped out for good….Hopefully!

Rating Your Tenants

Is it possible to rate tenants? My boss is trying to figure out some kind of system to put a rating on tenants. Personally I don’t believe its possible or logical to rate tenants. Just because someone has a 720 FICA score and is over 35 years old doesn’t make them a good tenant. First of all what is a good tenant? A good tenant is someone that maintains the landlords property and keeps it in good condition and of course pays the rent on time. OK, so now that we know what a good tenant is, we have to figure out what the criteria of a good tenant is. At least these are my bosses words. I don’t think there is a specific criteria or stats for a good tenant. It just depends on the individual tenant’s character and habits. If a tenant is younger then most likely they are going to have friends over partying quite often. Traffic is going to cause wear and tear on carpet. If the tenant has kids, the same factor is used because there is gonna be a lot of traffic and a lot of wear and tear on everything. This includes pets also. If the tenants are older I would usually say that they are going to keep their place cleaner than most others. Married, Single and living alone can be factors too. But when it comes down to it there is just no way to put a rating on a specific type of tenant. I should have Ern build a rating system for me as a matter of fact. Check in when I get that system up to see the results.

This is a great day. I have built a new site to show off some of the adventures that we have in our trips to places all over the state. Well not that we ever go that far but we do have some great adventures all over this little area of our state. We are in Las Vegas so it is a little hard to get out and do things that we like to do that don’t involve a slot machine.

We like to camp and to go out to places that don’t involve a casino or cocktail waitresses. Although they are great to see .. they are not always what we want to do. We like the woods and the sights that we see when we go camping. Check out EarthArticles.com

Tim

One thing I remember my mom telling me when I was a kid is that there was a kid that she went to school with that caught on fire. I actually remember meeting him a few times to. His name was Tim. Tim was a nice enough guy so he seemed. What had happened to Tim was that his brother and he were playing with fireworks and Tim caught his shirt on fire. That is not all. In a 5 gallon bucket next to the garage door just inside there was what Tims brother thought was water. Nae. It was a 5 gallon bucket of gasoline. Kerosene to be more accurate. It is amazing that Tim did not die instantly from the extensive burns that he received. I wonder what ever happened to Tim???

There seems to be just one person from each town that we have lived in that I remember for more than whatever reason. That seems funny to me that I even remember him. We only said hi in passing and maybe exchanged a hand shake now and then. Most of the other kids were scared of him.

Finding the right diet is not hard. Yes it is .. I was kidding. I have tried to date 24 different diets. That tells me that I am a quitter and that I am looking for the quick fix to weight loss. I see that in our fair city there are several businesses opening up that deal only with womens fat issues. Why … what about the guys to? I see a lot of fat guys walking .. or waddling .. around.

It seems that people are not giving up on this whole health kick. I will find an answer to my fatness and I will find thinness. Maybe. One thing I know for sure is that I am not going to stay like this much longer. I am already losing weight to impress someone special to me so lets get this fat off fast and now.

Big Google Scare. Right? Well whatever. Even though we did lose a bunch of page rank today among our sites we also lost many opportunities. It’s sad to think that some people make their living online. With their websites. And a little thing like Google Page Rank could stop them from making that income. Many people depend on the online medium to make their living. It is true. And when a company like Google comes along and decreases your chances of making a living by removing your website from a certain rank status that can really hurt.

OK that said … Google owns the internet so they can do as they please. Remember they bought the entire internet right after the purchase of YouTube. If Google was not around we would have no web to surf.

Phone calls make money

Do you ever get those calls that they want you to come check out a hotel that is opening up or a resort and you get a free trip or something if you do it? It’s like a 90 minute presentation about a timeshare is what it boils down to. But they are offering …these packages are either a trip to San Diego…they pay round trip airfare for you and me and dinner accommodations plus 2 night stay in the hotel OR a DVD Theater System and a 3 night accommodation to either Kano, HI, Los Cabos, Mexico, Orlando, Reno or here in town at one of the hotels. I would opt for the DVD thing and the stay in town or in Cabo or something.

I wonder if losing your luggage is covered in the travel insurance that you can buy when you get your air ride tickets? That is a heck of a thing. I didn’t even think of that before. What all is covered by that insurance? I know the flight tickets themselves are covered but what else and how much can you actually get out of that? This is something I think I will look deeper into. That would be good information like if you get sick on a flight .. or if you are riding a bus and the bus gets a flat and you are late for a very important meeting .. is that covered in travel insurance?

I can’t believe that we are going to have a visitor in only a couple of weeks. I am excited to see Mom and have her staying with us for a few weeks. I hope that the airline doesn’t lose their luggage like they did to Lil mans mom when they went to Texas last month. That was insane. They only had one suit case each and the airline lost them both. WOW! I don’t really understand how that happens. Don’t you ride on the same plane as your luggage? Should it not be somewhere near you the whole time? I’m doing only a carry on every time I travel no matter how long I am going for. I think I can fit it all.

Fires in LA

There is smoke in them there hills. LA is on fire and everyone is coming to Vegas for shelter until they get the fires under control. It is nice of the casinos here to help out when there is an issue in California. It seems like this city is actually one of those helpful good hearted cities under all of the commercial exterior of Adult Fun. Boasting what happens here stays here. What are we going to do with all these extra thousands of people here? That is a ton more opportunities for some adult fun.

I hope that no one gets hurt in the fires. And I am glad that our city is helping out. That is awfully nice of this crazy town.

Center of Aggression

When I have to go to the courthouse for evictions I want to scream. I have to go there it seems at least once a month to kick someone out of their house. Then they come to court and cry to the judge about why they just couldn’t pay their rent on time. If they would have done that in the first place I wouldn’t have to go down there today and kick their asses out of the house. First I have to go to the post office and send a certified letter, then get a receipt for that. Then I have to go sit at the court house all day and take time out of my work day and my regular job to go and get them removed from the properties. Why can’t they just pay their rent on time like I do and not have to make me angry?

Super Models CAN’t Fly

Going to the Strip in Las Vegas can be a nightmare at almost anytime of year. Even when it is super hot they are all down there doing their thing. Speaking of doing your own thing. This supermodel in LA thought that she could defy the laws of gravity when she was walking down the runway at a LA show.

That is the funniest thing I have read all day today. She apparently KNEW there was a HUGE hole in the floor and tried to walk over it anyway. Falling in and making an ass of herself she didn’t finish the walk and returned to the dressing room where she was treated for stupidity. You can read more of the story here.

Coffee Stop

The morning cup of coffee just got a little sweeter. I was driving to work yesterday and on the little more than one mile trip I passes a new store that is opening up in our little area of town. A Java Hut is opening in the strip mall by our house and I think that is going to be the new stop for coffee in the morning. I am not much of a franchise coffee drinker but stopping in there for a cup in the morning would be a little quicker than making it at home. Plus I hear that they have pretty good coffee.

I am about to change every number we have. I keep getting these calls from the same number and when I answer they hang up without saying a thing. EVERY TIME. That has to be the most annoying thing in the world. I just stopped answering my phone for a while and they still call. They are worse than those commercial collection agency people that call you when you owe money. At least they will talk to you and they are trying to help you get something cleared up. I’m going to have to change my number again. That is such a pain in the butt.

What are you doing to make your job tolerable? Or are you happy in what you are doing? I found out today that I love to do what I do. Even though there is absolutely no traveling in my job and no chance of going any farther in what I am doing I am pretty happy with it non the less.

I am an internet surfer. Yup .. thats right. I surf the net all day and I get paid lots of money to do it. I get to see some great sites and some not so great sites. Whatever I want to do I do it. I play with my son all day and I seem to work a little later than I would have hoped but ya know what .. it will all pay off in the end.

New Affiliate Site 2

I created another new Affiliate site for eBay and I am going to keep pumping them out one at a time till I can do two at a time. Hehe! I made a Crafts and Glass site for Whirled-Glass.com. The site came out pretty good and I like the layout of this one better than the Books one. I took a little time to get the look down but I am not sure that it is SF (surfer friendly) enough for any visitors. I am going to talk to Julie when she has more time and can talk with me .. shes always swamped with work .. and see if she has any ideas that I can implement. Diapers

Is there a recycle for dirty diapers? I know there is a service that you can get if you use cloth diapers that will come get them from your house and clean them for you. That is a little gross and I wouldn’t want my baby wearing someone elses dirty diaper. When you send your cloth diapers off to the cleaner do they clean YOUR diapers and bring YOUR diapers back to you or do they clean everyones together and send you back an amount? These are the questions I need answers to !!!!!!!!

If a diaper is made of plastic and cloth cant that be recycled? I am going to find out the answers to these questions and more. There is a podcast in the making here I can feel it!

Almost There

The time is now to get this RV thing rolling. We have been hunting and hunting for some extra cash and we are just not finding it anywhere. We have saved up quite a bit of money so far but when we find a great deal we can’t get it because we are a little shy of the full amount and the mo fos wil not budge on the prices.

I am going to have a brain anurism if someone does not start helping out and getting on the train that runs to RV Town slash ChelleNErnVille. Soon … Very Soon! We will have our RV and we wil be bombing on down the road to our vacation destination.

8 Month Break

What a great day. We went to our appointment today and we got everything handled. The moderator was great and we are set for about eight months now. We have another appointment for June 16th and that is a great coincidence because we are planning on leaving town for a few days on the 18th. How great is our timing? Someday we will not have to deal with them anymore and we can get on with our lives and get out of here.

These are the best days ever when the business associations in Las Vegas really take care of us.

This is the time that I tell you that I messed up and did the wrong thing. I went to the club last night and drank till I stank. Then I came home and passed out. This morning when I woke up I felt like the world had took a big crap on me. I almost lost my sight from the headache that I had this morning.

So what did I do wrong? Well .. It’s kind of embarrassing. What I did wrong was to put my trust in a cab driver that was a typical non English speaking person. Not only did I not get home on time but I was charged an extra $44 for a trip that should have only cost me $12 to begin with. Back to what I did wrong … well I since I told the guy exactly where I wanted to go and he decided to take me for a tour of the city instead I jumped out of the cab and threw him a $10 bill and bounced.

RV Time

Have you ever seen the movie RV? Every time I see this movie I think about driving our RV when we get it. I can see when I drive that it is going to be a nightmare. They are so big and I am scared to get on a little two lane road with it. I am not going to be the only driver no matter what. I will have to hire someone to drive for me maybe. We still haven’t got our RV yet but I have been a few now and I think that it is going to be so hard to drive one. What if I forget to put on the park brake? What if I forget to do something and we all roll away while we are sleeping? Maybe I am worried for nothing but I am worried!

It took me like 100 years to figure out why the back end of my blog stayed on the easy editor. I hated logging in and changing the text editor every time I wanted to post something. The regular standard text box allows you to use short cuts on your keyboard so that anyone can make short work of posting. I can write a post and slap in my links in like two seconds and the post comes out exactly how I want it to. Word for word and link for link. Easy and fast.

I really like the WordPress blog. They have templates and plugins that you can get and the site is packed with great ideas. I like getting templates and messing with them to try and make them more Me Friendly. Check out their blog stuff if you don’t already have a WP Blog then you don’t know what you are missing.

Oh .. I found the area in the back end that takes off the text editor. One click and I am off and posting like a normal person agan.

I like this new feature I found for websites. Snap is a feature that allows the links within your site to show a little preview Snap shot of the sites page you are about to visit. When someone goes to your site a rolls their mouse over your links the get that preview of the actual page they are going to go to and not just a snapshot of the home page. Pretty cool feature. Check out my Glass Blowing Blog that I added the feature to with a WordPress Plugin that was so simple and easy to do.

Stay Outside

There are some things that you should know about Las Vegas. IT’S HOT HERE. Right now it is the perfect time of year to be outside. It is not too hot and it is not too cold. There is a little slight wind action going on and it feels great. Inside is not so great though. It is hard to keep your inside temperatures right at this time of year. If you turn on the heat then it is too hot .. if you turn on the air you are going to freeze your ass off. If you leave the door open you are going to get flies in the house and that just sucks. So this time of year the weather is great .. now just what to do with the inside. I guess we will have to just stay outside!

Vegas Slogans

There is a new Vegas slogan for the locals. I think the new slogan is meant to relate to the locals only though. The old slogan, “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” was pretty accurate for visitors. with the adult entertainment industry thriving in Las Vegas the locals perhaps needed something of their own. “Keep your Vegas in your pants” better describes how locals are to act around these visitors from other places and countries.

I was pretty amazed at this new catch phrase for local people here in the big city. I understand how many of the visitors would see this as a way for locals to keep our huge community a safer place to live. We do after all have to be here long after the visitors leave our town. What do you think of the new slogan?

Flying is not Cheap

Flights to Vegas for $300. Why do I see these local commercials on the Las Vegas Channel and no where else? I searched for some tickets for my Mom to come to Vegas for a few weeks and these incredible TV prices where no were to be found. That is a little discouraging seeing as I wanted to surprise her and just send her the itinerary.

I even looked on those name your own price sites. Non of which had any better deals and most of which were about $140 higher than anywhere else on average. Maybe it is the time of year that we want to make this happen. Thanksgiving is a pretty busy time of year for flying. Sooner or later we will be able to get airline tickets at their advertised price. Maybe. And don’t forget to buy your carbon offsets.

Getting it Going

Finding funding. I am looking very hard for some help with a few tasks I am trying to get going. One is a new home and the other is a new or used mobile home. I want these two things so that I can prove a point in that each of these things can be self sufficient.

I have been working on a series of components that will run off of solar power and an engine that will also run off of a type of solar power and still produces over 400 horse power. Some said that this could never be accomplished. But I have done it. Not alone so some credit has to go to the people that helped with the testing and those that donated their time and knowledge of solar power.

So anyone that wants to pitch in and help out let me know.

Where are my shoes

Are you one of those people that untie their shoes and put them together when you take them off? Well I am. I take them off and put them in the same place every time. Quinn and I both do and we call it taking off our shoes and putting them where they go. Damn if “someone” doesn’t pick them up and move them every damn time. I went to get my shoes and throw them on real fast and what do you know .. they are gone. By the time I found them it was too late. Not to mention that when I did find them .. I only found one of them. When I asked where the other one was I got an .. “I don’t know, I didn’t take them off and leave them by the door now did I?” OMG .. This deserves some revenge. A good place for shoes is by the front door. In any home. Take them off so you don’t get the carpets dirtier then they already are. Right? I guess not in this house. They must be moved to another room and put out of the way. Out of the way of what I do not know .. crazy shoes.

MAC Book Pro

It is true that the best software and hardware will win the day. I have been trying to get my hands on a MAC Book Pro for a few weeks now and with no luck it looks like I am going to have to save for a new one. Well in some ways that will be a plus for me. I will be able to get the laptop with what I want in it and not be limited to someone else’s configuration.

I don’t like spending more than I have to on equipment although this is one purchase that will be well worth it. I was actually thinking about selling off my iMAC to get one and now I don’t think I am going to. I think I will keep this iMAC for a while and link the two up when I get the MAC Book Pro.

Indexing

I hope that all of the directories out there are getting the submissions that we have been doing for our sites. We have been trying to get all of our sites linked into the directories that are relevant to our sites and I hope that they are picking us up. I hear that Google is doing another update and this would be a good time to have all the sites ready to go in the directories.

If they are linking to us that would be fantastic for our ranking. Being in there with other sites that are relevant to what we write about. Great news for all. I can’t wait to see what comes of this indexing by Google since everyone things that PR is the most important thing in the world. Next to Alexa Rank that is.

Good Day for 5 Days

Today would be a great day to go and do 5 day posts on our non paying tenants. But I have to wait until tomorrow. I don’t like waiting when the time is right to get them done right now. I find that every time I wait until the next day I miss out on a ton of payments because of the late payers that roll in on the day they are overdue. One of these days I am going to start this real estate management thing for myself and make my own company of massive money making rules.

I should be running this company and getting all of the late payers to pay their rent on time and the late ones will have to pay double rent for being late. I would run this with an iron fist. For sure!

RV Fund Donations

I’m still searching for a MAC Book Pro or a MAC Book that I can trade my Dell for. I really want and need a MAC Book for the times when we are out doing shows and need to record straight to the computer. That would save so much time and hassle of transferring the long video clips to the iMAC when we get home. I could edit them right on the MAC Book and be done.

I got three emails about buying the Dell and all three of them are a scam. People from like Nigeria wanting to send hundreds of dollars more if I would give them my bank account information to they could send me the money and I can send the laptop to where ever. Do people really think that scam works still? Are there really suckers out there that this scam works on?

For now I am stuck with thees damn PC’s but I hope someone real calls and gets these things out of my house and I can get a MAC Book.

Friggin restarts … what a pain in the ass. We have something like 6 computers in the house just in case there is an idea that pops into our heads we have a computer available no matter what. Sometimes when we are doing a show there is a lack of computer space but luckily I don’t let anyone touch the iMAC so this one is always available for me ….. except when Chelle is posting her PTB stuff. Which is cool. She has to go to work sometime. hehe!!

I don’t know what I would do without my MAC at this point. I have gotten so used to it that I don’t see why I would need any of the Window$ computers anymore. Although I do use them to download pictures instead of hooking the camera up to the MAC I have card readers on all of the Dell Laptops. Easy .. right.

BUT I am willing more than anything to trade any of the Dell Laptops that I have for a MAC Book Pro. They are just as powerful but they just aren’t MACs.

B Day Lunch?

What a party. There was a birthday party here at work today and dang it if there is not a ton of food left over. I am excited to get out of here but the birthday party was not as bad as I thought it would be. I still don’t get why we are partying at work. I heard from the boys. They called me at lunch and wanted to just say hi .. how sweet. I am glad for those guys .. they love mom. I am still stuck up front today but hopefully today is the last day that I will have to be up here all day. Then Monday back to my old desk that I miss so much.

Birthday Lunch

Because of a person in the office today I am not allowed to go home and see my boys. I have to sit here all day and even stay here for lunch. Most of the time I go home and visit my boys for lunch. Today I can not. I even have to go out and get the food for this little birthday celebration we are having here at work. When did the office become a place to party? I don’t remember any other job I have had that I HAD to stay the lunch hour for any reasons. Bummer .. oh well … I will get this over with and get out of here early maybe.

C&B Updates

If all goes well this weekend you will be able to see a brand new show come out of the C&B Shows cast. Since one of the hosts of the show just decided to vacate the rest of the cast there will be some brain storming over the weekend about a new show that can be created to keep the audience favorable and the show hot. We will see what happens this weekend and how far they are willing to go with the show. There is talk of anew website also that will be a little less restricted when it comes to what can be said and shown.

Betting The Game

Horse Puckey … I went to the casino last night after signing up online for one of those gambling sites so that I didn’t have to go to the casino and bet on the game anymore. Well .. it turns out that by the time I got home again I was ready to go on the site that I signed up on. What a deal. Now I don’t have to leave the house anymore to bet on my favorite games. I think I got this fotball season down pat so far. I haven’t missed a game yet .. not as far as betting anyway!!!!!

Sick in Vegas

Managing through sick times. I feel like crap. I know it is the season for allergies but I think this one is more than that. I feel like my head is going to explode. In Vegas the winds get so high during the change in seasons that everything gets whisked away by the wind. The wind also contributes to the allergens being blown all over the city and the surrounding area. I am so not looking forward to being sick.

RV’s Are Cool

Ern and I went camping over the weekend to Delamar Lake in Northern Nevada. We of course had our Condo Tent packed up ready to go and our Soccer Mom MiniVan loaded up with firewood. When we finally got out to that windy dry lake bed, we noticed there were 3 RVs set up. I have fallen in love with RVs after that weekend of being in the cold and wind for 2 whole days. We were stuck in the desert guststorms while our friends Capatin Bill and Amber were nice and snug in their RV that was like a small apartment. We have decided that we are going to save our money and purchase a RV for the next camping trip.

Making it through the day

Every time I think I am going to get a break and get to go back to my job someone calls me back up front. I don’t like being up there. It’s just annoying to have to deal with some of those people. Especially the creepy ones. There is one guy that comes in here every month to pay his rent. He could just drop it off up front or even put it in the drop box but no .. he must come in and make his payment. Not only must he come in but somehow he always seems to get into the area I work in and he wants to talk to me. Luckily I am way in the back corner so I have time to duck and hide. He really is creepy. Yuk!

Two Hour Stent

Two hours from now I will be home and running on our treadmill. I would leave now but I need the money this week to buy something for my babe for the birthday that is coming up. If I don’t get something it will be ok but I got to get something.

I can’t wait for this last couple of hours to fly by so I can get out of here. I need a break from all this and the people coming in to bug me. If I was doing my actual job today and for the last few days then it wouldn’t be so bad. BUT I have been stuck up front doing a job that I started out doing when I first applied here. Now I just want to either go back in the back and do my stuff or go home and get to exercising.

Crime Scene Investigator

Do you ever watch CSI Las Vegas? They have got one heck of a show there. The series that we watched last season was really good. We wanted to watch this seasons episodes from the beginning but we missed the first show last week.

We have been long time fans of CSI and I try to get all the episodes down so that we can watch them all at once. This next season should prove to be even better than the last one. They always have a way of setting the show up then knocking down the bad guys so easily.

I often wonder if they make shows purely for entertainment purposes or if there is an alternative meaning behind the kind of shows that they make for TV. It struck me that there is possibly another reason for the making of some types of shows. Maybe they are looking to get people interested in that kind of job. Maybe the world is in need of CSI Agents these days and they made the show so awesome that people will want to become Crime Scene Investigators. I have been noticing that there are more and more 2 year schools that offer crime scene investigator training these days.

What is the productivity like in your office? Does your office let you take as many smoke breaks as you need to? Or when you want? Are you allowed to get up anytime you like and get a drink or go to the snack machine.

How is the productivity effected by this? Does all the days work get done and on time? There have been studies that show that people that are allowed to move freely throughout the day are more productive and yet there is a lack in performance. We take the last office we worked in for example. There was a divided set of people working there and on the one hand you had productivity and the other not so much. They were equally allowed to do what it took during the day to get the jobs done in their perspective areas. Yet only one flourished while the others faded.

I want to tell you that there were key factors that had to play a part in the demise of one half of this company. One of them being laziness and scamability. And so we move on to find another company to work for that will not scam people out of money for their own benefit.

Rent is Due

What a day in this week today is. I have been so busy with everything today that I have barely had time to breath. I have been answering the phone all day and making people love me. Really! We have so many disgruntled people calling every first of the month about their rent and how it should be lower and how they need a couple more days to get the rent up.

Yeesh … It’s due at the same time every month. Get it or get out. I hate to tell people that they will lose their homes if they don’t pay rent but what else do they expect?!?! This rent racket is for the birds. Why can’t I just go home and rest for a few hours? I need a vacation!

School Pictures

Today is a great day for pictures. Our son is on his way to school with his picture request in hand. They are getting school pictures taken and they are going to be so cute. Little Man has been having his picture taken since he was a little monster. Now that he is getting older and starting the journey through school he gets to have the awesome school pictures taken.

I can not wait to see how these come out. He has always take really good pictures in the past. Even when he was only 7 days old he was the star of the show. This should prove to be another one of those times when he lets his heart shine out through his smile. What a big boy!!

Daily Workout Plan to Success

So is working out with a trainer over-rated? Why would you be willing to pay a trainer tons of money every week to stand there and watch you work your ass off. If you have the energy to get your butt out of bed and to the gym then you have the energy to work out on your own for free. If you need someone to push you and keep you motivated then why not take a friend or your significant other with you to give you that extra plunge. I have a gym in my own home and I am planning on starting to walk on the treadmill everyday and do some strength training as I go. I figure since I have all the equipment then I am perfectly able to workout on my own and lose weight. If I walk on the treadmill for an hour a day then I could make my life healthier on a daily basis. I alone can make a workout schedule that could actually work for me. I just need the will power and faith in myself. I could build my confidence just by adjusting my life in the smallest ways.
