When I used to work for TP which I don’t always like to admit but it happened, we had a ton of customers that asked if they could pay for performance on our products. I went to the Fashion Show Mall a few weeks ago to look at the new iMACs … eh .. I’m not super impressed with the look but the functionality is great. Running windows and OSX together is a neat little feature. I went to some of the other stores while I was there. In particular I went to the watch store in there because I broke my watch out at the dry lake bed this past weekend. They have a Ulysse Nardin watch that was pretty interesting but I was thinking that I could get it a little cheaper online. Sure enough I went back to the Apple Store and jumped online for a second and sure enough … way cheaper online. I really want one like Harold Krick had on Stranger than Fiction. That was a cool watch and it saved his life.

I was looking at building a new sand rail for the next outing at the dry lake bed. We had so much fun cruising around with Cpt. Bill on his turbo charged rail that we wanted to get one of our own. Of course it will not be turbo charged right away but it will be fun non the less. So to get this done I am going to need a new plasma cutter. I have a really nice welder already but the plasma cutter I have is not so great. Last time I used it the cuts that I made didn’t come out too good. They were all choppy and jagged and it took me so much longer to get the edges down to smooth where I needed them than it should have. With this one I will not be putting 900 hours into building it. A few cuts here and there and a nice roll cage and we will be golden.
