I was looking at building a new sand rail for the next outing at the dry lake bed. We had so much fun cruising around with Cpt. Bill on his turbo charged rail that we wanted to get one of our own. Of course it will not be turbo charged right away but it will be fun non the less. So to get this done I am going to need a new plasma cutter. I have a really nice welder already but the plasma cutter I have is not so great. Last time I used it the cuts that I made didn’t come out too good. They were all choppy and jagged and it took me so much longer to get the edges down to smooth where I needed them than it should have. With this one I will not be putting 900 hours into building it. A few cuts here and there and a nice roll cage and we will be golden.
