This Christmas has taught me one thing if nothing else. Don’t die without leaving your loved ones with some kind of back up plan like a term life insurance policy that will take care of everything after you die.
This year so many people have passed away that I am just awe struck by the numbers. Maybe it is because we live in a big city or maybe it’s just a numbers thing but in our 6ยบ of separation about 8 people have died right before Christmas. That is a pretty high number and I am sure that there are more that we don’t know about yet. It wasn’t a few years back that we lost a few loved ones and didn’t hear about it for several years after their death. Distance can make people forget that you are a part of the family still.
So I think it’s important to make sure that your family is not going to be burdened with your financial issues after you are long gone to the after life. Make sure you take care of business while you are still alive.
