Some of the other companies in this town that could use some help like this are the cable company that provides the internet service to our area. I think we would be better off on dial up internet as many times as we have lost internet service in the past months. I can honestly say that I have been offline more than I have been online or trouble shooting the connection which is not really my job now is it?

I’m going to have to do some more research on this before I put it to rest though. I know this can be a kick ass laptop if I can get the right hardware in it.

There are so many cool styles of sinks that we can choose from if we are remodeling and putting in all new sinks and fixtures. The choices are unlimited. For the time being we are going to keep shopping for something that really catches our eye. We did see a few really nice sinks and faucets on Faucets.com. Bookmarked and saved for later!!

Gold has been the standard for may years in investing and saving. Gold is seen as the best way to show your power and wealth. The days of the Pharos may be long past but having gold to protect your investment is still to this day the best and easiest way to calculate your reserve.

I envision that someday more homes will be powered by solar regenerating equipment. The sun being a pretty great source of power for any home would make for a much more pleasant Earth. We have been coming up with a new way to harness the wind and create a generator loop that provides endless power as well. We have tested many options and some work while others have run out of juice. Maybe there is more to this endless energy that we think but I am looking forward to seeing some of the results we get from our energy tests.

On our last vacation we chose to have someone else plan out the course of our adventure. We ended up having the time of our lives and did more than we though would be possible in such a short time. We chose to have an added surprise to our vacation package. We asked the planner to add one little adventure for us that we didn’t want to know about until the very time it was about to happen. I’m still not 100% sure what part of the vacation that was but the whole thing seemed to be a never ending vacation for us all.

But we realized that if you add up the mattresses you will buy over the years and put that number up against the cost of a single mattress that lasts for over 15 years you will see that the price you would have paid in the beginning will be a whole lot less than 15 years worth of mattress purchases.

I’m almost as excited to sell it as I was to get it. I like having the big ol RV but I would like to have some money in my pocket right now instead.

Since it is still available I think we are going to take another look at it and see if we can’t get our hands on some if not all of it.

I am going to try and fix the storage problem as soon as I can. I will get to the outside and try and work my way in. I don’t see it working too well but who knows. We will see!

This year so many people have passed away that I am just awe struck by the numbers. Maybe it is because we live in a big city or maybe it’s just a numbers thing but in our 6º of separation about 8 people have died right before Christmas. That is a pretty high number and I am sure that there are more that we don’t know about yet. It wasn’t a few years back that we lost a few loved ones and didn’t hear about it for several years after their death. Distance can make people forget that you are a part of the family still.

So I think it’s important to make sure that your family is not going to be burdened with your financial issues after you are long gone to the after life. Make sure you take care of business while you are still alive.

I like the new system but the mess has got to go.

I have gained a little more time during the day for reading. I am reading a book “The Four Hour Work Week” and I have to say that so far I am pretty impressed with what I am reading. I like the idea of outsourcing my life. Well the work part of as that may be. I was supposed to finish it by Monday but as it turned out I did a little more working on the RV this weekend that I should have and then we had company so I didn’t get a quiet minute to read this weekend. I’m working on it though and it should be done by this weekend. I hope so, I want to work on the RV again this weekend. At least a little, this weekend is Postiecon and the Air Show.

We are looking for something to put in the RV for lighting and we don’t want to have to use the existing wiring if we don’t have to. I am afraid that if we get to into depending on that wiring we will be disappointed for sure. It looks really bad and we don’t want to have to replace it if we don’t have to. Maybe we will have to though.

I can’t believe that out of everyone in the office I got the position. There are plenty of other qualified people that could have taken the job but they chose me. Woot!

The floor plans that they have come up with on this website call for some more sophisticated style of housing. As the nation approaches the final countdown to Christmas, new research rings alarm bells over the financial impact of Christmas in credit crunch Britain. The research from the new money saving website Savebuckets.com reveals that as Brits prepare for Christmas, many are still paying off last year’s festive spending.

With 41 per cent of Britons paying for Christmas on credit last year, almost one in five are still paying for last year’s festivities (17%), fewer than one in three having cleared their Christmas debts when their January credit card bill arrived (29%).

Following a year of consumer confidence in 2006, Christmas spending soared 52 per cent in two years (from an average £548 per adult in 2004* to £837 per adult in 2006), with over one in five Brits spending over £1,000 on Christmas last year (22%). This year, with spending power at its lowest level for 10 years**, consumers are feeling the financial hangover from a more confident Christmas enjoyed on the credit card and loans.

Alarmingly, it is cash strapped youngsters and low income earners who, having spent the most on last Christmas, are most likely to be feeling the repercussions of last year’s spending spree (see figures below).

The research into the financial impacts of last Christmas amongst a GB representative sample of 2,000 British adults was carried out by the new money savings website Savebuckets.com which launches this week to enable Brits to get more for their money this Christmas.

With these alarming figures in mind, Savebuckets.com will give shoppers the opportunity to save up to 20% on their Christmas shopping. Putting consumers back in control of their spending, the site searches over 700 retailers for the best price on around one million products. The site includes a unique price checker which allows consumers to set the price they want to pay for items, notifying them when the price of a product falls to within their budget.
